    *  About the Artist: Jin, Zhu-Yu

     
    Mr. Jin, Zhu-Yu, styled name Ru-Yu, assumed name Owner of Miao-Zhu-Zhai. The Manchu nationality, whose blood relation is from imperial family of The Qing Dynasty. Member of China Calligraphers' Association. At the age of four, he started drills of Chinese brush handwriting under the guidance of his grandfather Mr. Jin, Qi-Ming in Beijing. He not only traced diligently almost all celebrated masters such as Wang, Xi-Zhi; Zhong,You; Wang, Cong; Wen, Zheng-Ming etc, but has gradually formed his own characteristic style as well after over thirty years' strenuous plowing and weeding in calligraphy art field, especially his outstanding attainments on small character have won great praise from connoisseurs. In 1996 he was awarded second prize in National Calligraphy Contest. Mr. Jin is very skillful in using varied means of artistic expression in different works, sometimes dignified and magnanimous, sometimes round and smooth. It is not difficult to find all these features in his exhibited artworks.  
     

    *     Now on display, a rare worthy-collecting calligraphy artwork, "The Romance of Three Kingdoms".
